Another example is the Royal Imperial Mananauts of the Elder Council, of which almost nothing is known. Their expeditions to Aetherius are said to be among the most famous attempts in history, however some scholars believe that actual proof of a successful journey is non-existent. Travel ĭuring the Merethic Era, a mythical order of Aldmeri explorers known as the Sun Birds of Alinor were said to have pierced the veil between Mundus and Aetherius using the raw magic of the Ehlnofey. The Mantellan Crux is a self-contained plane that for a time was the resting place of the Mantella after it was blasted into Aetherius by Zurin Arctus. The Magna Ge, or "Star Orphans", who fled Mundus before Convention and created the stars, reside here. Īetherius is thought by many to be the home of the Aedric spirits, though very little is actually known as travel to Aetherius is extremely rare. For instance, in 2E 582 King Emeric of Wayrest was (temporarily) killed in the Chamber of Passage in the Hall of Heroes his soul was drawn through a nearby passage to the Far Shores, despite his being a Breton. These locations are not necessarily exclusive to those particular races, but may depend on an individual's beliefs, choices during their lifetime and the manner of their death, including the possibility of servitude to the Daedra in Oblivion. The Redguards have a different place in Aetherius, called the Far Shores, as do the Khajiit, a realm known as the Sands Behind the Stars. For Nords, their chosen place in Aetherius is Sovngarde, the Hall of Valor. Īetherius, much like Oblivion, consists of a multitude of realms which serve different purposes, except they are all "of everlasting imperfection". Materials known as Aetherial Fragments often become dislodged and fall to Nirn these are commonly observed by the people of Tamriel as 'shooting stars'. It is a common belief that the soul of a dead person, assuming they are not Nirn-bound for some reason, goes to Aetherius, to continue on as a spirit. The stars and the sun are thought to be holes into Aetherius left by spirits (notably Magnus) who long ago became dissatisfied with Mundus. The page may need work to meet the standards outlined on the project page.Īetherius, the Immortal Plane, is thought to be the origin of all magic and arcane arts. Obnoxious in a couple of spots (glares at graveyard with self-destructing ghosts), but never impossible. This page is currently being redesigned for the Lore Places Project (LPP). I do play on elite, but that's never made a boss fight impossible before. I primarily used the best shadow damage gun I could get at this low level, along with +pistol damage gear. I tried to fire multiple shots in different directions, but even with my fastest gun on my new character, I can only fire three shots. Anything else just brings up stuff from other games. The wiki page is blank, and the only threads I can find are either about how people did or didn't like the new addition, or about suggestions for adding in mimics. SPIRAL KNIGHTS MAGNUS HOW TOPlus there's NO information on the web about how to fight this thing. I can damage the tentacles, but there's no health bar, and with all the time I just spent pumping ammo into this thing, I'm pretty sure this isn't working. I can clear a path through the flood of power drops, but all shots just hit the tentacles. Now, I haven't played in a while, so this is the first time seeing this boss, but nothing seems to hurt it. I just spent probably close to an hour fighting this thing. ![]()
